FutureFlow is not financial advice

Projections are illustrative only
When we show what £50/month could become over 20 years, we’re using long-term hypothetical return assumptions:
- Conservative: ~2% real return (historical cash/bonds average after inflation)
- Standard: ~5% real return (historical diversified portfolio average)
- Higher: ~7% real return (historical equity-heavy portfolio average)
These are not forecasts. Real returns vary year to year, can be negative, and past performance doesn’t predict the future. Always assume your actual results will differ.
Savings estimates are heuristics
When we suggest “you could save £25/mo on broadband,” this is a rough estimate based on UK market averages. Your actual saving depends on:
- Your current contract and provider
- Your address and available alternatives
- Bundle effects (e.g. losing multi-service discounts)
- Timing relative to contract renewal
We’d always rather under-promise than overstate. Check the actual savings before making decisions.
Deal information
Deals, voucher codes, and cashback offers shown in FutureFlow are sourced from public providers and merchant websites. Expiry dates, terms, and eligibility can change without notice. Always check the merchant’s site for the current terms before purchase.
Inflation and tax
Our default projections show nominal amounts (i.e. future pounds, not “today’s pounds”). Pro’s inflation-adjusted view shows real purchasing power. Neither accounts for your personal tax situation (e.g. ISA allowances, capital gains tax, dividend tax). Tax treatment depends on individual circumstances and may change.
Investment risk
All investments carry risk. The value of investments and income from them can go down as well as up, and you may get back less than you invested. FutureFlow is not a substitute for understanding what you’re buying. Read key information documents (KIDs) for any product before investing.
